The map above shows part of the first ride-
The fist club ride will start at the OMV garage in Chucle then go South towards Davle where we swing Westwards. From Davle the road changes to rural but twisty route travelling through forests and small villages. The section from Mnisek Pod Bro gets more like a Italian mountain pass road with lots of hairpin turns and switchbacks. From Revenice it is a mixture of twsity roads and wide open sections on towards Karlstejn. When we get to Karlstejn we will take a short coffee break in a local bikers bar. Depending on the time we may stop here for lunch or carry on.
The next section will be from Karlstejn to Beroun which I like to call the ¨CZ mini Alps¨due to the tight Alpine road that climbs and then falls into Beroun. There some pubs on the way which we may stop at for lunch.
After lunch we can see how everyone feels and if you want to continue we can extend the trip and return back Prague in a different route.
If you feel like a longer ride we can continue to Krivoklat where there is large castle with locals dressed on old costumes. From there we continue North- East back towards Amerika and then onto Repy where the trip will end.
The trip will be a great first ride as it will have plenty of tight turns, hairpin bends, wide open rural roads and busy traffic. Just what we need to wake us up after our winter rest.

26th April Sunday Ride.
I am planning a special ride on Sunday 27 April.
We could all meet at Antonio's friends restaurant - La Gastronomia (http://www.lagastronomia.cz) for early Italian breakfast at 09:30 then go North up to Little Saxony on the Czech German border. It has some great roads and views with some interesting places to stop and visit on the way. It is approximately 350km round trip and the riding will be at a reasonable pace. I do not expect us to return back to Prague until 6:00pm so it will be a full day ride. As we will be crossing the border you may need to bring a few euros with you in case we stop for a coffee/beer If you are interested then please let me know.

4th May Sunday Ride
Bikers Caves
I am planning a special ride on Sunday 4th April.
We can all meet at McDonalds by the OMV garage on the D8/E55 (see map) to fuel up and quick coffee.
This route is a big favourite of all local bikers and the route can often resemble a race track due to the high number of bikers racing along the challenging twisty roads. It must be said that this route has the higest motorbike accident rate for the area so be warned.
We will ride up to the petrol garage at Duba stop for coffee and view all the other bikers then ride onto the bikers caves where we will stop for a beer and lunch.
Bikers Caves.
Consists of a unique bikers pub located inside sandstone caves, where you actualy ride inside the caves with your bike and and park up. There is a bar and hot food available inside the caves and if you want to you can borrow an old mattress and even sleep there. Outside there is plenty of seating and a stage for rock bands plus additional parking.
As this will be the first weekend that the bikers caves are open it will be very busy so we may have to park our bikes outside on the main road.
Mimon Airfield
After lunch we will leave and head towards Mimon Airfield where will have some fun looking at the old Russian aircraft hangers and have a blast up the runway.
This is a dissused airfield that was used durring the Russian occupation and has one of the longest runways in Europe(2.3km). There are old aircraft hangers that used to house Migs and Mil helecopters togther with a self contained accomodation area that used to house upto 20,000 people which is now a ghost town so an interesting place to visit

17 May - Ride
Horice 300 Gustav Havla Street Racing - Horice
This is one of my favourite events of the whole year. I am sure that you have all seen and watched the Isle of Man TT where riders race around a normal street circuit at full GP racing speeds. Well, this is the Czech equivalent of the TT. You will be just a few meters away from the racing as the race bikes scream past along normal street roads complete with roadside curbs, street lighting, road white lines, and houses.
This event is held over 2 days - Saturday and Sunday with Saturday being practice and qualifying - Sunday is race day.
I will be going to the main race on Sunday so if you want to join me let me know. It will be an all day event and we will have to leave early on Sunday morning so that we can get there and park up then find some good positions to watch the racing.
This is a very popular event so there are a lot of people watching the racing with the main racing streets closed to all traffic it means that we can only walk around the circuit. So I would advise you to wear some light clothing as sitting in the sun watching the racing in hot sticky leathers or thick textiles is not very comfortable or pleasent. I would also suggest that you take some waterproof riding gear with you just in case the weather is not so friendly.
Do not forget to take your cameras and videos with you to record some classic racing.
Just to give you a taste what the racing is like have a look at......http://youtu.be/5tPwDYpS2y0
